Disclaimer
Our Holy Bible Comic Book is based on the King James Version of the Bible, faithfully adapting its scriptures while bringing them to life through artistic interpretation.
We recognize the importance of historical accuracy in biblical storytelling. As such, our depiction of biblical figures reflects a broader understanding of ancient history, including the cultural and ethnic diversity of the regions where these events took place. Mainstream portrayals often present a Eurocentric vision, but historical and scholarly research suggests that many individuals from biblical times would have reflected a range of Middle Eastern, African, and Mediterranean features.
In this spirit, our artwork aims to provide a rendition that more closely aligns with historical realism, including the representation of African Americans in ways that honor this rich heritage. We do not intend for our publication to offend anyone, but rather to celebrate our freedom of speech and religion by portraying history with accuracy and integrity.
Our artistic choices are deeply rooted in historical and scholarly research, ensuring that this is not an arbitrary reinterpretation but a well-considered depiction of biblical history. Our goal is not to alter scripture but to present a visual interpretation that challenges conventional depictions and sparks meaningful conversations about biblical history.
